SHUSHA OCCUPATION MUSEUM EXTERIOR VIEW
The main concept for the project is to highlight the existing building of the prison, which has a very peculiar and distinctive ‘T’ shape.
Therefore the strategy is to demolish most of the smaller buildings that might obstacle the view of the prison, to free the building from all sides and make it an important visual landmark in the centre of the whole complex.
This also allows the creation of wide open-air courtyards that can be used for outdoor art installations.

Shusha Victory Museum
From the Victory road, several paths lead the visitors through the park. Climbing the many staircases and ramps, the visitors pass by the flag square, which is at the core of the Victory Complex.
Standing on the highest terrace, the shape of the Victory Museum is created by four geometric solids interlocked with a double-height glass volume. The fragmented buildings reconnected by the glass skylight are a tribute to the monumental effort, made by Azerbaijan, to reunite the Karabakh territories.
