The design of the Occupation and Victory museum of Kalbajar is inspired by the majestic natural elements and environments of the surrounding territory.Basalt mountains, gold mines and hot water springs.
Ruins will be integrated into the main structures of the museums. The location of the museums is strategic to enjoy the beautiful ancient cemetery on the slope.

A design of spiral looping corridors and staircases will tell the story of the occupation of this territories with the aid of suggestive continuos digital projections.

VICTORY MUSEUM EXTERIOR VIEW
The architecture of the Victory Museum is inspired by the natural features of the Kalbajar territory.
The idea is to recreate a narrow path between steep hillsides, to dramatically lead the visitors towards the museum.
The shape of the building reproposes the pentagon and hexagon, which are the geometries of the basalt columns that can be found in the area.
